McAuliffe 7th graders go whitewater rafting and learn about how currents form, what an eddy is, the dangers of strainers, and much more. With incredible scenery and wildlife sightings such as eagles, students are immersed in science. The annual trip also marks the kick-off for sensory essays in their humanities classes!

McAuliffe Honors Christa McAuliffe

Eighth grade students of science teacher Dan Anderson of the Christa McAuliffe Regional Public Charter School presented their science research projects at a Framingham State University event honoring Christa McAuliffe and the Challenger Crew on the 25th anniversary of the disaster. Our talented students and our values as educators, paralleling Christa McAuliffe's own beliefs about education, made national news:
