Once Creekside is hired as your grounds management contractor, Creekside will guarantee all irrigated trees and plant material on your property in which Creekside has full management responsibility. Creekside guarantees these trees and plants for as long as Creekside is the grounds management contractor, with the following provisions:
All trees and plants must be properly irrigated with an automatic system. Creekside must be hired to maintain the irrigation system and possess full control over the timer and its operations.
If an irrigation system is not present, Creekside must be hired (and paid extra) and allowed to manually water the tree and plants as needed.
Trees and plants that are already dead or in decline at the start of the contract will not be included in the guarantee. Before the guarantee will be in effect, Creekside will audit the health of the existing trees and plants, to verify which trees and plants are eligible for the guarantee. For trees and plants that are not eligible, Creekside will be happy to replace those plants at an extra charge. The audit will also include a general audit of the irrigation system to verify its ability to maintain the plant materials. The system must be in good operating condition for the guarantee to be in effect. The guarantee is not transferable from one owner to the next if the property sells.
The guarantee is limited to issues associated with acts of god (wind, storm, flood, drought or water restrictions, vandalisum or damage from outside party.
Trees and plants will be given every opportunity to revive themselves if in decline. Creekside may choose to try to rejuvenate the plants to promote new growth, if appropriate, before determining that they are to be replaced. Contract payments to Creekside must be maintained as current. If the account goes beyond 45 days past due, the guarantee may be deemed void.
The guarantee includes removal of small tress and shrubs (up to 3" caliper) however if mature trees and shrubs die and need replacement, Creekside may charge extra for the removal and disposal of large trees and plants.
